Let’s talk about: Russian defense system “Pantsir S-1” (Панцирь-С1). Pantsir S1 is a medium range anti-aircraft system produced from 2003 in the KBP department, Tula. The system is a further development of SA-19/SA-N-11 and represents the latest air defence technology by using phased-array radars for both target acquisition and tracking. It’s a combined system: artillery and STA missiles are both included in this WS/SAM (Weapon System). I personally think that this system is one of the most advanced of the entire world.
